Dr Ayu Hasida Hassan

Bachelor of Medical Science (Australia), MBBS (Australia), MRCP (UK), Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (Singapore), Cert. Men's Health (Singapore)

Dr Ayu is a trained general practitioner with special interest in family medicine and preventive medicine, cardiovascular health, men's and women's health, infectious diseases and clinical dermatology. Dr. Ayu believes in the phrase "prevention is better than cure" and strives to transform healthcare by incorporating health education into improving patient knowledge and building lasting partnerships with her patients.

Dr Ayu graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia in 2009 and completed her housemanship in Singapore. Subsequently, Dr Ayu gained extensive experience as a medical officer in various subspecialties postings such as Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine, Obstetric and Gynaecology, Renal Medicine, Rheumatology and Community Hospital for rehabiliation and palliative care. All the postings has been done at various hospitals in Singapore e.g Singapore General Hospital, Kandang Kerbau Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH), Changi General Hospital, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Bright Vision Hospital.

Dr Ayu is passionate about family medicine and was a resident at Sengkang Singhealth Polyclinic. She was then accredited as a Family Physician by the Singapore Family Physicians Accreditation Board and the Singapore Medical Council. Upon her return to Malaysia, Dr Ayu worked in the Primary Health Care Department (RUKA) at the University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC).

Dr Ayu obtained her postgraduate qualifications, namely MRCP (UK) and also obtain her Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (GDFM) from the National University of Singapore (NUS).

She is also a member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom and the College of Family Physicians, Singapore. Recently, Dr Ayu obtained a Certificate in Men's Health from the Singapore Society for Men's Health (SMHS).

The Doctor is very attentive to your questions and ensure you are comfortable with the session. The clinic environment is very clean and comfortable. On top of that, pre-visit after an appointment is made, they will send you reminders on your appointment. Post-visit , staffs from the clinic will follow up on your conditions. Overall, good value for money for good services!

Im very comfortable with Dr Ayu and the staff. I went for health screening and received a proper treatment. Dr. Ayu was very nice gentle and soft spoken. She explained everything clearly. The 2 other staff are very helpful and friendly also. The price was so reasonable. To bad its far from my home. Cam here because it's closed with my office. Would definitely come here again
